UK universities representative in Oman

A higher education expert who is a representative of different UK based universities will meet students from Oman. Mr Ahmad Abu Shaikha from Study Group (International Colleges on the campus of UK universities such as Lancaster, Leicester, Stirling and Kingston; and at Dublin Ireland for entry to University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin) will be in Muscat on Sunday 12 february and Monday 13 February.

Second Pakistani University opens in UAE

Abasyn University RAS AL KHAIMAH, (UAE): One more Pakistani University has started its operations in Ras Al Khaimah with a mission to provide good quality affordable education for Pakistani families living in UAE. Name as “Abasyn University ”, the new educational platform will offer degree courses to the 800 to 1,000 pupils who comes out of Pakistani high schools in the UAE every year. Previously Szabist University in Dubai was the only Pakistani university in the emirates. Abasyn’s Ras Al Khaimah centre is its overseas branch campus. AUS helps rebuild Iraq’s higher education

War-torn Iraq Sharjah: The World Bank and American University of Sharjah (AUS), will host tomorrow, Thursday, May 24, at Lecture Hall A, in the ground floor of the AUs main building, a training course for about 40 senior Iraqi education leaders, on strategic planning and quality assurance in higher education institutions.
