Founded in 1451, the University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world. Today this university is a broad-based, research intensive institution with a global reach. University of Glasgow is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of leading UK research universities, and striving to change the world with expertise. University’s annual research grants and contracts income totals more than 129m pound, which puts it in the UK’s top 10 earners for research.

University of Glasgow moves on a research-driven approach and it is one of the reasons why a degree from the University is so prized. The 2010 International Student Barometer ranks this University 3rd in the UK. University claims that the students graduate are equipped with the skills they need to compete in a global workplace and with friendship and networks that last a lifetime.

Osmania University degrees "blacklisted" by recruiters in Gulf

Osmani University HYDERABAD: If you are a graduate from Osmania University(OU) , India, you may receive a blunt rejection from the HR manager of Gulf countries. Shocking news is out that Osmania University distance education and regular degrees have been blacklisted in several middle-east countries including Iran and UAE.  But Higher Education authorities of these countries have not made any official announcements in this regard. Scores of OU students, including foreigners have been refused jobs in the United Arab Emirates and Iran.
