The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) is organising a national level student innovation forum at the Oman International Exhibition Centre from May 8 to 10 to provide the right platform to talented students in Oman.
Addressing a press conference after launching the forum’s logo and media campaign, H E Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Sarmi, undersecretary at MoHE said that higher education institutions need to encourage students to show their talent not just within their campuses but also to the outside world.
“Students should be provided with the right environment and all the required support to come out with good and innovative works.”
200 students from 61 government and private institutions will participate in the three-day forum. A meeting of representatives of higher educational institutions was also held to familiarise them with the innovation forum and conditions for participate of their students.
