CORE education turns its eye on higher education in Gulf

CORE Education & Technologies Ltd., the Global education solutions provider, announced its foray into higher education sector in the Middle East in partnership with the Government of Ras Al Khaimah and the Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi (BIT), a premier engineering institute of India.

With this venture, CORE is establishing its Academic Learning Centre at Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAZ FTZ) in an agreement with BIT (Birla Institute of Technology), Ranchi, offering programs in engineering, architecture and also in business administration. CORE Education & Technologies Ltd. also plans to launch an executive MBA programme in this academic year in collaboration with a leading international university at the RAK campus. 

Earlier, Birla Institute of Technology had a campus in Ras Al Khaima. This campus is now facilitating by Core Education and Technologies, Teaching services provider, who is a also a licensee of Ras Al Khaima Free Trade Zone Authority of Govt. of Ras Al Khaima, through a new agreement. Core International Institute of Higher Education FZE (CIIHE) has been promoted by Mr. Sanjeev Mansotra, also a promoter of the CORE Education and Technologies Limited which is one of India's largest educational company that has presence across 12 states in India, 46 states in the USA, 40 Educational departments in the UK, 8 African and 3 Carribean Countries, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. CORE provides for transformational and innovative solutions for the entire education continuum of K-12, Higher Education and Vocational Education. This initiative in the higher education domain is CORE’s first step towards its larger business goals in this region. CORE is growing into one of the newest and fastest growing forces to reckon with in the rapidly growing education sector. 

Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Ranchi is one of the premier institutes of India in technical and professional higher education. It is a deemed university under UGC (University Grant Commission), India. Started its journey into higher education with a 780-acre campus at Ranchi, India, in 1955, BIT established by the visionary-industrialist B.M.Birla which has later spread its wings into the other parts of India through extension centres in Allahabad, Kolkata, Noida, Jaipur, Chennai, Patna and Deoghar. Very soon, BIT opened its overseas centres in the Middle eastern countries like Bahrain, Muscat (Oman), Ras Al Khaima. BIT is reputed for establishing a dedicated department for space engineering. BIT Ranchi has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accredited Council (NAAC) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) established by the UGC and AICTE respectively. BIT has collaborative arrangements with Universities in USA, UK and Canada. 

The new initiative by CORE reinforces the widely spoken development of the United Arab Emirates as the next global educational hub. The company (CORE Education) will act as an academic catalyst for the futuristic brand of education in the region with its break-through innovations and research driven technology solutions which have made it a successful player in the education field not only in India but also globally.

While announcing this collaborative venture, Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah said, "Ras Al Khaimah is always exploring opportunities that can enhance the quality of education in the region and towards this endeavo ur, we welcome CORE's entry into the region and wish them all the best in their efforts."

Announcing CORE’s foray into the Middle East, Sanjeev Mansotra, Chairman and Global CEO, CORE Education & Technologies Ltd., reiterated CORE’s commitment to complements CORE’s mission of building knowledge economies worldwide, with the immediate aim to make UAE the preferred education destination for students in the Middle East and the North African region.

Second Pakistani University opens in UAE

Abasyn University RAS AL KHAIMAH, (UAE): One more Pakistani University has started its operations in Ras Al Khaimah with a mission to provide good quality affordable education for Pakistani families living in UAE. Name as “Abasyn University ”, the new educational platform will offer degree courses to the 800 to 1,000 pupils who comes out of Pakistani high schools in the UAE every year.
