Career UAE attracts youngsters

Dubai: The three-day annual Careers Show Exhibition (Careers UAE) at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) will be concluded on Wednesday 7 March. Careers UAE, which started on Sunday 5 March, aims to connect Emirati jobseekers to some of the country's top employers.

Careers UAE is now celebrating its 12th year. This exhibition is being held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-president and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. 
"With the strong and stable economic growth of the country set to continue, career prospects for UAE nationals have never been greater," said Hilal Saeed Al Merri, CEO of DWTC. 

DWTC is playing host and organiser to Careers UAE and has brought together over 100 exhibitors from the UAE's semi-government and government sectors including finance, education, energy, transportation and telecoms. New to this year's event is the launch of the Career Builder segment, which provides candidates the opportunity to apply for various work placement programmes. 

 Final-year students and graduates are eligible to apply and candidates stand to be selected based on interviews at the event. Venue is the halls 5 to 8 at Dubai Internation Convention and Exhibition Centre from10am to 6pm.
