The last date of submitting the duly filled forms at the Admission and Registration Department is 25th January 2012. It is believed that classed will be started from 11 February 2012.

Waljat College of Applied Sciences, Oman (it is a Zawawi Group establishment) is having academic partnership with Birla Institute of Technology(BIT), India.
The Birla Institute of Technology was established in 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi, by the philanthropist and industrialist B.M. Birla. The Institute was affiliated to Patna University until 1960 and then to Ranchi University. BIT was declared a deemed university in 1986. BIT enjoys a high ranking in India among the institutions of higher education. BIT has opened extension centres in Lalpur (Ranchi), Allahabad, Kolkata, Noida, Jaipur, Chennai, Patna and Deoghar and overseas extension centres in Bahrain, Muscat (Oman), Ras-al-Khaimah (UAE) and Mauritius.
With the majority of non-resident Indians staying in the Gulf have to send children for higher studies back home, the new institution will help the students stay together with their families and pursue higher education.
Institute is having high class faculty including professors, readers, lecturers etc. Several MNCs are visiting campus regularly for recruitment.
