VIT signs MoU with Australian varsities

Chennai: Vellore Institute of Technology has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with three Universities in Australia.

This MoU initiative is a part of offering joint degree programs in engineering streams. Three Australian Universities are Australian National University, Queensland University of Technology and Deakin University. The pact was signed during the VIT Chancellor Dr G Viswanathan’s recent visit to Australia.

According to the MoU signed with Australian National University, VIT students opting for this program can do two years study in VIT and another two years in Australian National University. MoU offers opportunity for joint programs in engineering at bachelors and masters level. Students of post graduate streams would complete their first year of study in VIT and the second year in Australian National University.

On the agreement with Queensland University of Technology and Deakin University, VIT has signed agreement to offer joint programs in B Tech in the areas of civil, mechanical, electrical, computer science. After successful completion of the program students would get joint degrees from QUT and VIT.

Osmania University degrees "blacklisted" by recruiters in Gulf

Osmani University HYDERABAD: If you are a graduate from Osmania University(OU) , India, you may receive a blunt rejection from the HR manager of Gulf countries.
