Allinace was awarded as the best Private University

Assocham Award for the Best Private University was recieved by Dr. Madhukar Angur, Hon’ble Chancellor, Alliance University from the Chief Guest at the award ceremony, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Karan Singh.
New Delhi, (India): Alliance University was awarded the Best Private University of the Year at the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) National Summit on Skill Development and Education & Excellence Awards 2014 held at New Delhi recently. This award was presented to Dr. Madhukar Angur, Hon’ble Chancellor, Alliance University by the Chief Guest at the award ceremony, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Karan Singh.

ASSOCHAM is the oldest leading apex chamber of India set up in 1920 and it represents the interests of more than 300,000 direct and indirect members. The ASSOCHAM National Education Excellence Awards, 2014 recognize best practices in delivering quality education in India and felicitate leading institutions of higher education who have contributed significantly in improving the quality of education, innovation, research and development.

Earlier Alliance School of Business was ranked 9th among the best private B-Schools in India by CNBC-TV18 in “The B-School Rankings for 2013”. Alliance School of Business has been ranked as the top 8th B-School in India for its Bachelor of Business Management program by MBA Universe. Alliance University is located on a campus on the Chandapura-Anekal main road, Bangalore. Campus design and construction on an additional 40-acre land in Bangalore is underway. The city campus of the university is located in BTM Layout, Bangalore.

The university has four academic schoolS - Alliance School of Business, Alliance School of Law, Alliance College of Engineering & Design and Alliance Ascent College. Alliance Ascent College, has been established to provide education, training and research in the areas of business, management and technology.

Second Pakistani University opens in UAE

Abasyn University RAS AL KHAIMAH, (UAE): One more Pakistani University has started its operations in Ras Al Khaimah with a mission to provide good quality affordable education for Pakistani families living in UAE. Name as “Abasyn University ”, the new educational platform will offer degree courses to the 800 to 1,000 pupils who comes out of Pakistani high schools in the UAE every year. Previously Szabist University in Dubai was the only Pakistani university in the emirates. Abasyn’s Ras Al Khaimah centre is its overseas branch campus. As a famed brand in Pakistan, the Abasyn University has campuses in Peshawar and Islamabad. Abasyn University is considered to be more affordable as it charges only Dh1,200 a month. This makes it more affordable than Szabist which charges Dh1,900, and Abasyn is significantly cheaper than other institutions. On average, university fees in the UAE start at about Dh25,000 a year.
