Delhi, (India): The admission process for 54,000 seats under Delhi University's four-year undergraduate programme started on June 2, 2014.

New Delhi: The admission process for 54,000 seats under Delhi University's four-year undergraduate programme started on June 2, 2014.A new feature this year is the presence of "university observers" who will ensure that admission is carried out without any problem in the colleges.

With students scoring high percentage in CBSE Class 12 examination this year, the university officials are speculating that cut-offs will soar. A centralised form, with both online and offline options, that costs Rs 100 for general candidates and Rs 50 for SC/ST and OBC candidates. 

Applications to St Stephen's and Jesus and Mary College will only be conducted through an online form.


The university has also conducted "open days" where parents and students were provided information on admission and their queries were answered. The last day for filling form is June 16 while the first cut-off list will be released June 24.

Entrance examinations for courses apart from the course in Bachelor of Management were cancelled.

Second Pakistani University opens in UAE

Abasyn University RAS AL KHAIMAH, (UAE): One more Pakistani University has started its operations in Ras Al Khaimah with a mission to provide good quality affordable education for Pakistani families living in UAE. Name as “Abasyn University ”, the new educational platform will offer degree courses to the 800 to 1,000 pupils who comes out of Pakistani high schools in the UAE every year.
