Sultan to attend launch of Research Centre

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi

Sharjah, (UAE): His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and President of American University of Sharjah (AUS), will attend the launch of the University of Cambridge Judge Business School’s new Middle East Leadership Research Centre (MELRC), at a special event at AUS on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.

To address the lack of region-based research, the Middle East Leadership Research Centre will be dedicated to researching the business environment and the particular leadership challenges and opportunities facing Middle Eastern organizations.

The launch will bring together faculty from the University of Cambridge, American University of Sharjah and senior business leaders from the region, for a stimulating exchange of ideas. The opening and keynote addresses at the launch will be given by Professor Christoph Loch, Dean, Cambridge Judge Business School and Tirad Mahmoud, CEO, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, respectively.

Second Pakistani University opens in UAE

Abasyn University RAS AL KHAIMAH, (UAE): One more Pakistani University has started its operations in Ras Al Khaimah with a mission to provide good quality affordable education for Pakistani families living in UAE. Name as “Abasyn University ”, the new educational platform will offer degree courses to the 800 to 1,000 pupils who comes out of Pakistani high schools in the UAE every year. AUS helps rebuild Iraq’s higher education
