UAEU ranks in Top 50 Universities established in the Past 50 Years

UAE University new crescent building
According to the QS World University Rankings, the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) has placed in the top 50 world universities that were founded within the past 50 years, acknowledging the rapid pace of progress within both the United Arab Emirates and its national institution of higher education.

Among the top universities established since 1962, UAEU ranks in position 48, between Aston University, UK, and Griffith University, Australia. Both these universities, and in fact, most other top world universities, were founded earlier than 1976, the year in which the late HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan established UAEU.

Within the Top 50 Under 50 rankings, only eight universities in the world that are younger than UAEU are ranked above UAEU, reflecting the very dynamic growth and ambition to strive for excellence of the institution.

The QS World University Rankings is a ranking of the world’s top 700 universities by Quacquarelli Symonds using a method that has published annually since 2004.

The rankings are designed to look at a broad range of university activity, and six indicators are used: Academic peer review (40%), Recruiter review (10%), Faculty student ratio (20%), Citations per faculty (20%), and International orientation (10%).

The average age of the top 200 universities from the 2011 QS World University Rankings was 187.3 years.

At only 36 years of age, UAEU is proud of the recognition by the QS World University Rankings, and intends to re-double its efforts to continue improving the preparation of young Emiratis for the workforce of tomorrow while at the same time infusing innovation into the Nation’s development plans with significant research initiatives.

Both are in metropolitan cities with good options for hostels, PG accommodations, food and entertainment. Cultural activities are equally good as is the faculty and study methodology. Even placements at the two IITS are amongst the best in the country. Yet figures indicate that the top JEE rank holders prefer Computer Science Engineering at IIT Mumbai rather than IIT Delhi. But, we are here to tell you when and why you can avoid IIT Mumbai. Mumbai IIT was earlier placed in the suburbs, away from the crowds, giving IITians the space and peace to pursue their career goals. He draws around Rs.1 lakh per month. This is a good salary for a student who just now starts his career. But now the son wants to pursue his private passion- Music. He is an ardent music lover. His first few months salary was spent for setting up a studio at home. He bought few good expensive instruments and music equipmen
